The breed originated in China, in the village of Tai-Li, the Chinese province of Kwangtun. The origin of the breed brings us back to 200 AD. As archeological excavations show, the ancestors of these hounds were highly appreciated. They served as tomb dogs. Sharpie dog photos are very amuzing to watch at.
